Today I woke up at 4:13am
I hate waking up when the ending numbers are 13. Yuck!!
I fed the baby and then walked the dog. It was raining outside, so I opened the umbrella for us to walk under. Unfortunately, I opened the umbrella inside the house!
Just my luck!
Then I did some things around the house for my wife. I wanted to wear my lucky shorts, but could not find them.
After that, I had to move a dresser and I broke the mirror that was attached to it.
There we go! Seven years of bad luck!!!!!
I went in the kitchen and a stupid light bulb was out! I got the ladder out of the garage, but ended up walking right under it.
Why didn't I walk around it!
The day was coming to an end, and I was tired! I saw a penny on the floor, but decided not to pick it up. I did not want to bend.
Overall, I guess you can say I had a very unlucky day!
Oh, by the way, I worked out, spent time with my family and ate well.
I mean, luck has nothing to do with good decisions, right?

Perfect perspective! You're right Tony, we are not helpless victims of fate... We are in control!
As Hanlie said, we are in control of ourselves. BTW, I don't consider your day bad at all -- anyone who gets to exercise, spend time with family, and eat well should consider themselves blessed, which is what I think you were trying to say.
Everyday is what we make it. We find what we're looking for. :)
So true! We are the ones that have the power to make the right decisions. Luck has nothing to do with it!

Unlucky days happen, but honestly life is more than just luck. You control your life more than luck does. (I broke a mirror first thing when I woke up a few days ago. Oops.)
We choose what we see- if we're looking for the positive, our life will be a positive one!
